Paul S. Morton Scholarship Foundation

The Paul S. Morton Scholarship Foundation (PSMSF), a 501(c)(3), non-profit corporation, established in 1989 to advance educational opportunities for students who have demonstrated academic excellence, community service and leadership. The Paul S. Morton Scholarship was named in honor of Bishop Paul S. Morton, Sr., who is the Founding Bishop of the Full Gospel Baptist Church (FGBC) Fellowship International, the pastor of Changing A Generation FGBC in Atlanta, Georgia and the co-Pastor of the Greater St. Stephen FGBC in New Orleans, Louisiana. Bishop Morton is a man of God who is committed to "Changing A Generation."

Each year, the PSMSF awards a $5,000 scholarship to  a maximum of six (6) eligible students who enroll full-time at an accredited four-year college or university in the fall of the award year. The scholarship award is disbursed directly to the college or university over four (4) consecutive years in two equal installments each year. A recipient must meet the scholarship requirements each semester for renewal of the scholarship award.

Scholarships are available for African-American graduating high school seniors residing in the Greater New Orleans LA (max of 3 scholarships)  or the Greater Atlanta Metropolitan GA (max of 3 scholarships) areas and are US citizens.

The will be no solicitation for 2021  Applications unless further directed. Application solicitation will resume in 2022. More information is available on the website.
